- Quite possibly (I'm not sure how all the DMA channels running everything
- at once works out this way) but if possible without hurting the Amiga
- architecture then it would be very good in and of itself (it could probably
- cut the frequency of the necessity of new motherboard purchases in half)
- and probably essential since it sounds as if AT hasn't done a thing in the way
- of chip development since the auction, such a delay on top of the auction
- delay and CBM bumbling would be hard to instantly overcome, even customizing
- some other chipset with some Amiga features would be rather tight for an early
- next year PPC Amiga, although perhaps with a delay until fall it could be
- managed.
